Our safeguarding approach is proportionate and context-aware. We deploy different matching pathways for family interactions, where we connect schools and care homes or where older people are engaging from home. Every connection is structured to be meaningful, safe and secure.
Identity verification and checks
To ensure every participant is who they say they are, adults on the platform undergo robust verification.

Enhanced DBS checks are required for anyone working with children, registered via Care Check (DBS Umbrella Body).

Digital identity checks are carried out using three supporting documents or online verification, with seamless integration into the platform.
